Canon TS-E 24mm tilt-shift lens photographs London cityscapes and the advantages of a tilt-shift lens
Photographer Adam Karnacz headed to London to shoot some cityscape photography. He wasn't using a conventional lens, however, he opted instead to use the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 II tilt shift lens.
A tilt-shift lens allows you to do a few different things that normal lenses do not. You can tilt and shift the lens itself relative to the sensor plane and create images with less distortion. This is very important for architectural photographers in particular. You can also tilt the lens to create a very shallow depth of field and create a "miniature" effect.
